When a customer places an order through our website, over the phone, or by email, he/she agrees to be bound by all of the terms and conditions stated herein:

 

Dispatch & Deliveries: Our standard method of delivery within the UK is by Royal Mail First Class Standard postal service. European and worldwide services differ, but are also usually with Royal Mail. We aim to dispatch all items within 1 working day, often on the day of purchase, so we advise all customers to leave 1-3 working days for domestic delivery, 3-6 days for European delivery, and 3-9 days for worldwide delivery. Your postage service will be shown at checkout, or you will be emailed to let you know of any change. We will never 'downgrade' your postage option, but sometimes it may be speeded up by using a courier, especially for larger orders. Any time/deadline stated is an estimate only, and we can not be held responsible for changes to any estimates we may provide, as most delays are out of our control. We are not responsible for delivery times, our control ends with dispatch times. "Free delivery on all orders over £20" only applies to UK orders - European and Worldwide deliveries are still charged the normal postage rate except in exceptional circumstances. Please contact us for bulk orders where a discount may apply.

 

Out of stock products: In the unlikely event that we make a stock control error and product(s) are no longer in stock when a customer orders those product(s), we will give an option to either cancel the order for a full refund, or to wait for a new batch of the product(s). If we are not expecting any new product(s) of that same or very similar type, we will issue a full refund or source the product(s) elsewhere for no extra cost.

 

Loss/damage in transit: We will retain responsibility for the products until they reach our customers safely. However, should an product not arrive on time for any reason after we have dispatched it, we reserve the right to claim up to 1 month in administration time for domestic deliveries and up to 3 months in administration time for international deliveries before a replacement or refund can be issued. Replacements for loss in post can, in most cases, be issued 15 working days after the initial date of dispatch. Once an order has reached a customer, though, responsibility will fall on the customer. We can not be held responsible for any items damaged during a return to us, unless we have organised a courier collection from the customer for the items to be returned.Only in the event that we are unable to supply within a reasonable time will a refund be given.

 

Returns - faulty or unwanted goods: Under distance selling regulations in the UK, consumers have the right to return an unwanted item within 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods for a refund, replacement or exchange. We will accept returns of unwanted goods for a full 30 calendar days from receipt, but please contact us as soon as you can to organise a return. Faulty goods can be returned for a replacement within 14 days of receipt. Again, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a return of a faulty product. You must contact us for an RMA number before returning goods - packages sent to us without a valid RMA clearly visible on the outside will be rejected on arrival.

 

Missing goods: Customers must report missing goods within 3 working days starting the day the products were delivered in order to be eligible for a replacement. You can contact us by any durable method (email, fax) or leave a phone message should you not be able to speak to any of our staff directly. Only in the event that we are unable to supply within a reasonable time will a refund be given.

 

Consequential damage: In the event of a faulty product purchased from us causing damage to property, we are liable only to refund the full value of the product purchased from us which has caused damage, or to replace it as in our usual replacement procedure. Xett Multimedia Ltd is not liable for any consequential losses caused by our products or services.

 

Complaints procedure: We take our responsibility as a trusted trading company very seriously. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with our products and/or services for any reason, please let us know, and we will endeavour to rectify any errors, ommissions or other issues as soon as possible. An official complaints address can be obtained by contacting our after-sales service & support team.

 

Force majeur: We can not be held responsible for any delay or failure to provide your order due to any circumstances that are not reasonably within our control.

 

Process of sale: When a sale is made throuh our website, over the phone, by email, or by any other accepted method, you will be asked to pay by one of our accepted payment methods. You will then receive confirmation by email, phone, Skype, IM, SMS, or any other method you may have chosen. We will contact you again in the case of any delay or possible failure to deliver, or any other issues with the processing of your order. You will, in these cases, be given the option to cancel your order, or wait for the delayed goods. If there is any foreseeable reason for prolonged periods of delay, we will endeavour to provide advance notice clearly visible on the website whenever it is reasonably possible.

 

Privacy policy: We will never sell personal information given to us by customers to any third parties, and will take every possible step to keep personal details secure and private. We may, however, use contact details in order to keep customers informed of product updates and discounts that we think they may be interested in, and we use email as our primary method of contact during the order process. We may use any of the information you provide to us in relation to your order to contact you with any issues affecting or caused by your order from us and to keep you updated of company developments in the future. By buying from this website you agree to allow us to use your contact details for these purposes.
